Welcome

Welcome!

The St. John’s Church Family are glad you are visiting our website and hope you join us at the church itself.

We are a congregation of “Down to Earth” faithful Christians who seek to serve our community. Giving the inspiration that lead people into a deeper faith in Jesus Christ. We worship with joy and song, serve with love and compassion, and strive to be followers of Christ in all that we do.

Saint John Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). St. John Lutheran welcomes all people regardless of age, economic level, gender, race, ability, or sexual orientation.

Join “US” each Sunday… In Person @ 9 AM or STREAMING  (See Announcements for Details)

Our congregation is being served by three “extremely gifted” retired Pastors, that deliver sermons that are rewarding to your spirit and nourishment for your soul’s salvation. And Pastor Phillip Garber is our Pastor of Record to the Indiana Synod of thr ELCA.

That being said our congregation …

“is in search of” a full time Pastor.
Must love the country… and almost city.

But that does hinder us to do God Work, and we would Welcome You. To join our Church Family…

WE ARE BLESSED and SO ARE YOU, SINCERELY,

ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH CONGREGATION & COUNCIL

Information on New Bishop Election

As we prepare for the upcoming Bishop election in June, we've asked Bishops from across Region 6 to share their thoughts on various aspects of the role. We encourage you to share these with your congregation - on Facebook, in e-mails, and in worship, as we together discern who might be called to be our next Bishop. The next of these videos examines the Bishop as Ecumenical Officer led by Bishop Donald Kreiss from the Southeast Michigan Synod. Thank you for sharing, Bishop Kreiss!

Bishop Craig Satterlee of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod offers a reflection on what it means for the Bishop to be a proclaimer of the Gospel. This is the latest in our series of video reflections from Region 6 Bishops as we discern the gifts that are needed in the next bishop of the Indiana-Kentucky Synod.
